"Cultivate the habit of rejoicing in the assurance that the divine wisdom is guiding you, even when you do not yet see the way."
"Live your daily life in the full consciousness of being righteous in God's sight, an object of delight and pleasure in Christ."
"Do no look upon a life of holiness as a strain and an effort, but as the natural outgrowth of the life of Christ within you."
The choice of these baskets seems to illustrate these quotes for me. Just as the oak strips could not form themselves into utility, could not forsee their purpose or bend into the shape needed to create each "object of delight and pleasure", I am, in the hands of The Gardener, being bent, twisted, shaped, molded "even when I do not see the way".
